Saica Pack Provides Forthglade with National Trust Pooch Passport Engagement Tool Signs

Forthglade and Saica Pack have joined forces to support pooches and their people, enjoying nature together through Forthglade’s partnership with the National Trust.

Saica Pack, the division of the Saica Group that produces corrugated board packaging,  has supported customer Forthglade by producing signage to be displayed at carefully selected National Trust places across the UK. For fun, visitors can take a picture of their dog posing by the signs at twelve National Trust properties participating in the Pooch Passport scheme.

This is the second of year of the hugely successful ‘Pooch Passport’ scheme, developed by the National Trust and supported by Forthglade, as part of the ‘Dogs Welcome’ project. This is an inclusive initiative to encourage people to visit their sites with their dogs. The signs are designed to build on the exceptional engagement during last year’s scheme and create a unique  photo opportunity for visitors to post on social media that they have collected all 12 stamps for their “Pooch Passport.”

National Trust members and guests can now make the most of outings to 133 of the National Trust venuesparticipating in this year’s Pooch Passport scheme, to collect stamps.

The ‘passports’ are available until 28 February 2026 allowing people to collect stamps each time their pooch explores a different place in the National Trust care. Once six stamps are collected, the canine companion will be given a free packet of natural, dual protein Forthglade National Trust treats. And, when 12 are collected, the dog can claim its own limited-edition, ‘Loyal explorer’ dog tag.

Saica Pack Sales Director - South West, Clare Lucas, comments, “We were delighted to assist Forthglade and the National Trust in this project creating unique and engaging  ‘Pooch Passport’ signage in order to help encourage man’s best friend to visit these sites alongside their human companions!”

Autumnal walks with four-legged friends are always a seasonal highlight with the glorious colours of the season and crunching through leaves, especially when the walk is exploring a National Trust garden, park or woodland together and the passport and photo opportunities make it even more appealing!

All signs are made from recycled cardboard/paper and are fully recyclable. For further details about Saica Pack, please visit the website here.
