Saica Group Welcomes Customers to its Annual Knowledge-Sharing packaging Event in Ireland

Saica Group welcomed customers to its annual customer event, hosted by Saica Pack Ireland, the corrugated packaging division of Saica, held on 14-15 October 2026 at The Grand Hotel, Malahide and the company's Ashbourne manufacturing site.

The two-day event provided customers with a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the packaging manufacturing process, explore the latest developments across Saica’s operations and see first-hand how ongoing investment is helping the company deliver innovative and sustainable packaging solutions. 

The first day focused on product knowledge and education, with a comprehensive programme of presentations delivered by experts from across the business. Customers were taken on a journey through the packaging production process, learning more about paper manufacturing, flute profiles and board composition, print capabilities, carton board solutions, value engineering and retail trends. Delegates also received an update on Saica Connect, the company's digital customer portal designed to provide greater visibility and control throughout the order journey. Alongside the educational programme, customers also enjoyed a creative breakout activity featuring a darts challenge. Designed and developed by Saica's National Development Centre team, the bespoke dart stations were made entirely from corrugated cardboard, showcasing the versatility of paper-based packaging materials while providing a fun and interactive networking opportunity. 

On the second day, attendees visited Saica Pack Ireland’s Ashbourne manufacturing site, where they were given an exclusive look at operations and production capabilities.

Customers also had the opportunity to see the site's recently installed Rotary Die Cutter in action, showcasing how continued investment in technology is helping to enhance production efficiency, quality and service levels.
