FIA UK recognises Saica Group with three packaging awards

• Triple-win for solutions in corrugated cardboard and flexible packaging, by Saica Pack Scotland, Saica Pack Newport and Saica Flex Buxton respectively, at the Annual Print Awards

Saica Group has scooped three awards at the prestigious Annual Print Awards, held by the UK Flexographic Industry Association (FIA UK).

Each year, FIA UK – which represents the entire flexographic printing supply chain - recognises excellence in printing and best practice in the field through the Annual Print Awards. This year, Saica Group attended the FIA UK Awards Gala Dinner, held on June 15th at the Hotel Titanic, Liverpool, where three of its packaging solutions were honoured.

The first of the Gold awards went to the SVS La Martiniquaise corrugated cardboard solution, developed by Saica Pack Scotland. 

Saica Pack Newport received another Gold Award in the Corrugated Post Print – Uncoated line and screen category for its work with Champion. 

The Saica Flex division has also been recognised once again, with a Bronze award for its UB McVities Mermaid Cake Bar 5pk print for Pladis. 

These awards, which recognise best practice in flexographic printing in the UK, once again demonstrate the value that the Saica Group places on innovation and improvement in order to provide the best products and service to its customers. 

Its investments in R&D&I, together with the work and effort of its employees to do something better and different every day, is what allows the Saica Group to remain at the forefront of packaging.
