Saica Pack wins the Platinum Award from ECMA with a sustainable packaging for agricultural products

The package designed by Saica Pack in its Barcelona plant in order to solve the agricultural packaging needs has been awarded with a Platinum Award by ECMA, European Carton Makers Association. The European Carton Excellence Awards are one of the most prestigious prizes in the packaging industry and specially recognizes SAICA’s environmental drive.

The awarded Saica design “Fresh Pack Trays” is a sustainable and visually attractive alternative for agricultural producers. The package has a special top cover which allows perfect opening and closure of the crate, improving safety and transportation features demanded by Saica’s clients.

This packaging line, designed by Saica Pack technical office, is produced in Saica Pack Barcelona plant with 100% recycled and recyclable papers, on channel “N”, contributing to the circular economy and strengthening Saica’s commitment to the environment and long-term sustainability.
